Past successful 'slimmers' have been entered into the "Pet slimmer of the year" competition run by Hill's Pet Nutrition (manufacturers of the diet food). Tim Chapman, a Terrier cross from Sprowston, lost 7.65kg (45% of his original body weight) and won through to the national finals in London in 1998. Minnie Berry, a Domestic Short Haired cat from Old Catton, lost 1.7kg (24% of her original body weight) and won through to the regional finals in Newmarket this year. |
