Behaviour Problems A well behaved pet is a joy to own and care for and a strong bond rapidly develops between pet and owner. However, inappropriate behaviour can quickly put a strain on the relationship. Some problems may just be an irritation, such as pulling on the lead or jumping up at visitors. Others may be more serious for the owners such as cats which urinate in the house, dogs who destroy the furniture when left alone or are aggressive to people or other dogs. Most of these problems can be resolved, there by improving the relationship between owner and pet. We can offer help on these matters or can refer you to a professional pet behaviour counselor who visits the practice on a monthly basis. |
